Bearded Dragons vs. Crested Eye Lash Geckos

Misting? Yes. Bathing? Not really, and even then, it's um...different. Cresties generally prefer height to length in terrariums due to their arboreal lifestyle. However, they don't require AS big a tank as a Beardie. @Missi: But they're not Leos. They have no eyelids so they have to keep them...

Bearded Dragons vs. Crested Eye Lash Geckos

More than likely, it's dependent on the individual. But yeah. Cresties in general tend to take to handling pretty well. As for the tail dropping, it's again individual-dependent. Some cresties probably will, others are probably like Nova and prefer keeping their tail. Losing it doesn't seem to...

Bearded Dragons vs. Crested Eye Lash Geckos

Lucky for you, I happen to have both! :D They are surprisingly easy to take care, since they're LESS demanding than beardies. Being nocturnal, UVB is optional(Wouldn't hurt, though). They can also get everything they need from a specific diet by Allen Repashy. On top of that, they thrive in...

    Dubia

I'm with jxl22. I went with WestCoastRoaches and I've had NOTHING but good results. Virtually all of them I ordered were alive, and the "dead" ones only ACTED dead. One year later, I have a thriving colony.

    New Bearded Dragon Owner-Infected scratches

For the scratches, might I suggest trimming his nails? There are guides around here for that. As far as them infecting goes, just clean the area and you're good. On the subject of catching anything, the only thing you can catch from him disease-wise is Salmonella, and really, the only way you...

Terra's Photo Gallery 10/4/13: Wow. It's been HOW LONG?!?!

Well, it certainly has been awhile. o_o Anywho, updates on Terra: June, Terra tagged along with Trixie(My little sister's hedgehog) for a vet checkup. It was mostly for Trixie, since she had a swollen area of her right cheek. Trixie was a subject of concern, but I'll get into that later. Terra...

Beardie's fall asleep every which way,I want pics!

Yeah. Even as an adult, it surprises me where she'll use as a bed. Typically, she'll sleep in her cave, but outside the terrarium, she'll sleep wherever. When she was little, she had a fake cactus decor that she would sleep on. She'd have her front legs on the top part of the cactus and her...

Has anyone NEVER been bit by their beardie?

Only once by Terra, and it was a feeding one. More my fault than anything. Long story short, I was trying to feed her some CGD(Crested Gecko Diet) as a treat. Well, she ended up seeing the bottle cap it was in as food, so I had to remove that from her mouth. In the process, I was bit...

Scared about Heating Pads, Need help with Roach Heating!

My method is rather primitive, but simple. I had some leftover slate tile from when doing Terra's viv flooring, so I used 4 tiles for both the heat mat(from a local Fred's store) and the dubia bin. Despite it being on carpet, the slate absorbs the heat as well, helping with keeping the bin warm...

    cresties tail

Are you sure about their tail dropping easily? Apparently, Nova didn't get the memo. The little goober still has his/her tail even after a year.

Stolen Bearded Dragon (and Car) Returned to Fashion Model

I'm not normally one to advertise stuff, but I had to share this one, especially since a Beardie's involved. http://www.reptilechannel.com/reptile-news/2013/06/14/model-darius-dio-gets-his-stolen-bearded-dragon-back.aspx

Our Story :) with pics! PLEASE READ

    In which case, you're already on the right track. And the dominating pic was hilarious XD As for sexing, I believe females can be dominant? Terra's currently the only Beardie I've worked with, so I'd let someone more experienced give info there. ^^;

Beardie's fall asleep every which way,I want pics!

From a few night ago. I eventually had to move her because one of the hammock's suction cups came off and I don't trust this hammock's other two for the life of me.

What products do you feed your crickets and dubais?

My Dubias are spoiled. They get orange slices, Terra's leftover greens, Nova's leftover CGD, Repashy Bug Burger, and either fish food, cat food, or kitten food(used for my sister's hedgie).

Terra's Photo Gallery 10/4/13: Wow. It's been HOW LONG?!?!

According to one of the users at Pangea Forums(Shoutouts to them, btw), he is a Hemidactylus Turcicus. Otherwise known as either a Mediterranean House Gecko or Turkish Gecko. As you can guess, it's not really native to Mississippi.
