Lenny was diagnosed with an aneurysm

No offense taken! Actually the vet told me today she thinks Lenny should be a Lenora! Lol. Both vets think majority of the hyperactivity was all environmental due to the moving from place to place. And I do have towels in the tank. And they did X-rays as well, Lenny, does not have eggs in her

    Help!

It is "squishy" kind of like if you bruise yourself and it swells, but a little more firm. It can be pushed in a wee bit(i didnt try hard, dont want to hurt him). He seemed rather un-phased by it. My mom said he got himself stuck between the glass/basking spot yesterday, it could be from that...

    is it time for brumation?

Okay, I'll start making a hide for him. I read that article before posting this actually. Just still curious as too how often to wake him, or to attempt to feed him. I bathe him usually every other day, he only goes poop once, maybe twice a week. He hasn't been big on eating last few weeks. And...

    General concern for 'Ole Lenny

Usually no more than an hour at a time, majority of his day is spent in the tank, sometimes he'll be out for 2 hours occasionally. So your saying, only offer worms twice a week, and greens on the other 5 days? I usually dust the feeders, so should I dust the greens now? And yes it was the...

    spring is here!

haha yeah alot of people have been afraid of him when they first see him, so he definitely has the shock factor working for him...but he lacks the aggressiveness by about 100%. I have never seen him get angry, except once because he crawled and buried himself deep in my closet once and when I...

    spring is here!

Thanks guys! Haha yeah, that has become his new favorite spot. Usually after bathtime and he gets warmed up again I let him run around freely in the room his tank is in, and I check on him every so often. Today I found him in the kitchen(next room over) where the door is, he had found his way...

    spring is here!

he actually has slowed down his eating so much that, he doesn't eat alot. He used to eat the heck out of his greens, now he hardly touches them. He is on supers for now, which has lead to him being so fat, but due to some of changes in life I couldnt afford reptis anymore, roaches are out of the...

    spring is here!

who knows what he's thinking, when I bought him I wasn't given an exact birthdate but from what I was told he should be 11 months old, hes HUGE. Personally my gut says he is older than I was told, but I am not sure. His eating has slowed down tremendously probably starting 2-3 months ago. He...

    cut nails too short?

Yea, I actually have had him on slate tile since I got him which was back last May, his nails are sharp, so I def will trim them, I know where I can cut down too, I just wasn't sure if I can get some of that "clear" part too, just because the overall length of his nails are getting long too.

    cut nails too short?

hey guys, so Lennys nails are getting pretty freaking sharp and long, they havent ever been cut before. Can I cut the clear-ish part as long as avoid what I assume is the vein that I can see when there is enough light, or only the black tip?
