    Shriveling Tail - HELP!

The tip of his tail was necrotic (dead). They snipped it off ( ), only that very end part which actually had never grown any bone for some reason, and gave us some antibiotic injectables (oh how he hates them), and I am pleased to say that his coloring in the tail is already much better...

    Shriveling Tail - HELP!

Yea I don't think I've ever seen the tip of his tail shed. I always sort of figured it happened when I wasn't looking because it's such a little patch. Ok, I'll get the poor guy to the vet ASAP. I hope he doesn't have to loose too much of his tail, that thing is his pride and joy he just loves...

    Shriveling Tail - HELP!

My bearded dragon is 4.5 months old, and has always had a thinner section on the very tip of his tail, about half the length of a tip of a pen. I figured he got nibbled there as a baby, as he was a petsmart lizard and was kept with a lot of other hatchlings. The rest of his tail always looked...

Introducing Beardie to Dog - Need advice

Thank you, that seems like good advice. It does occur to me that maybe the reason Brutus watches Sirrush like peanut-butter is because he is wondering if that is what he tastes like.

Introducing Beardie to Dog - Need advice

This is Brutus watching Sirrush. Note the complete fixation on a dog that never focuses for more than 3 seconds on anything that isn't peanut butter.

Introducing Beardie to Dog - Need advice

Hello, I'm a new owner, so I know I have "first child syndrome" in that I'm pretty over-protective of my lil lizard baby. I also own a 110 lb. pit-bull/mastiff named Brutus who is a very affectionate dog without a mean bone in his body, but hyper-active and extremely playful. So far, I have not...

Beardie's fall asleep every which way,I want pics!

Oh thank goodness. I've had my beardie, Sirrush, for a few weeks now, and I was starting to get seriously concerned about his sleeping habits. I made him a nice comfy hammock with blankets, he has several hidey holes, and a soapstone that stays nice and warm at night, and yet... this is how he...

Rory says Howdy! Now with 100% more BEVO!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can't leave the lizard in the store. I also wanted one since I was a kid, planned on getting one from a breeder, but instead brought a lizard home from petsmart when I went to get my dog food. I hope that Rory is healthy and active. I'm a little concerned...

MadE and Sirrush, happy to join BD.org

Hello, I am a first-time bearded dragon owner (uh, I guess slave is the correct lingo for reasons becoming quickly apparent). While I have wanted a bearded dragon since I was 14 (10 years ago) and done extensive research, I thought it would be a good idea to join a community that can help sort...
