Well she ate 8 large Dubia's this morning. After about an hour she pushed 2 very small hard yellow eggs. She is back to her perky self, so I think she is empty for now. :blob8:

Gave her a long bath. She drank for a min straight. Then back to the cage for some big fat dusted Dubias and wax worms. Poor thing looked DEFLATED after her egg laying. She is now sleeping via beardie burrito on me chest. Thanks for the info.... :D

Ok what do I do about these 20 or so eggs she laid. They are right on the tile floor. She had no dirt or nest to speak of. And I have never let her mate. She is in a separate tank. So what do I do next. Does she need help? Or a vet? :?: :shock:

I give my Dubia's a orange once a week. Just cut it in half and toss it in. It's gone by the next day. As for food, ground up cat food mixed with some kind of grain cereal, also ground up. And add 2 big TLBS of brown sugar. They love it.

Well, Chunk and I went on our first road trip to the Petsmart. Got him a new leash. And he seemed to enjoy sitting around in the front yard. He has always loved sunning in our window sill. Now to see if Pricilla likes the leash.... :blob8:

Well just set up my new colony from the RoachGuy kit. Now the wait begins. Got the 260# kit and some extra egg crates. That water gel is amazing. One little OZ and it makes a gallon of the stuff. The BD's will have to suffice with Wax worms and Supers for now. :study:

OK I recently separated my two BD's. They still sit and gawk at each other from their cages. Thing is I read that stress is bad for them. He is always slightly black in the beard. And will head bob to her all day. She in return waves to him and watches his every move. Now is it better to block...

That is sad. I let mine do the same thing, but never close the window, and they air conditioning is always blowing out over them. When they get to hot they just climb down. Sorry for your loss.

Alot easier to clean too. Got one of those little steam cleaners, works great. Seems to be good for their nails, takes the points down a little.

Was not as hard as I thought. Removed all the sand, cleaned the tanks. Got some nice baige colored 12x12 tile at Lowe's. Only .57 cents per square. Did both tanks. Hardest part was cleaning up the edges to the cut tiles. All done for less that 12 bucks, including scoring tool. :blob8: :blob5:

Chunk, my male likes to do the same thing. I can have him on the carpet, lap, shirt...and he just let's one go. He does it in the food bowl, water bowl. The only time he does not poop at will is while sitting on the window sill sunbathing. So I guess he OWNS the whole place and every one here...

Does anyone else have a problem with their beardie taking a poo while on your leg or your holding them?

I have been using Great lakes, they do a great job. And prices are good. Shipping has never been a problem. One time my order got delayed somehow ( UPS did not pick up on time) so they sent me extra product. The Hornworm Cups are great and easy to take care of. Good luck.

How can water crystals be cheaper, the pillows are reusable. 5 bucks one time.

I have them in a big plastic container with oat/bran. There are some egg cartons in for extra roaming room. But they smell awful. How may do you keep at a time and how deep is your oats? How long between oat changes? I use potatoes also, maybe thats why???
