    Eye Contact

Hellooo! I've noticed that as soon as i walk into the living room or even just look at her, she ALWAYS looks straight to my eyes. If im sitting on the sofa and look down at her she looks straight for my eyes, and then will carry on. Every single time. Does anyone know why they do this? I find...

    Set up ok?

Your temps seem fine. As you said he's only a few months old it could just be him getting used to you. Also, most dragons get a little cranky around the times that they're shedding. As long as he's eating, pooing and basking fine it could just be relocation stress. Do you handle him often? How...

    Custom Viv

Hi guys, It's been a while since i've posted... so hello again! I'm basically looking for a company or person who custom builds vivarium's to order, or has a wider variety of vivs than most companies carry. The problem i'm having is every so often Tisha has a 'naughty day' as we call it, when...

    Quick Question

I suppose it depends on the beardie. I wouldn't have thought they'd be inactive for more than a day (im sure someone will correct me if im wrong). For example, when thats happened with mine she'll just slob around until she goes to bed and then be fine the next day. Just make sure after you...

    Is this brumation?

Thats a relief! So should i do everything the same? Lights on the same timer - feeding at normal time etc and bathing occasionally?

    Is this brumation?

She's about 11 months old now, don't have weight sorry, but she went to the vet about 2 months ago who said she was a healthy weight. She's just finished shedding and is about 18 and a bit inches. Using reptisun 10.0 had it about 3 weeks EDIT: The vet also said she was a little small for her...

    Is this brumation?

Thanks for the quick reply! She seems to be eating fine every day but just is really lazy and sleepy. Is it normal for them to start this early?

    Is this brumation?

Hey guys, Tisha seems really down recently. All she seems to do is lay on her stone under the light all day. She's got her sleepy eyes on all day aswell. She's eating fine, and she'll chase her food around and then walks back in and lays down under the light. Could someone explain burmantation...

    Question about beards...

In the morning tisha blows out her beard and sits with it out for like 5 mins. not black though, just stretching i think. And then she does it again in the evenings again not black, but it look likes she has trouble with it. Its hard to explain but her beard will come out almost parallel to her...

    Hey new here guys

Wow... Where to start. You need a UVB bulb like a Repti Sun or w/e NOT a black light. (http://www.everythingforpets.com/zoo_med_reptisun_10_0_uvb_tubes.pet/use.id.5.item_id.7371.dept.1279/) The heat is not ok regardless of whether he seems to like it. He will get ill from it if not kept at the...

    Baths

Just either fill up the bath or sink or w/e and make sure the water is nice and warm and will only come up to its shoulders. make sure its in the bath for like 10 mins or so and you should be fine.

Help - Lizard got paint on herself

haha silly dragon! I'd be very wary about using solvents. Maybe just let her sit in a warm bath for a while longer?

    Vacationing??

Yeah agreed. if i have to go away for like 24 hours or so, i get up early, make sure she does a poo (so she doesn't have to sit with it while im gone) and then feed her loads. Her lights are on a timer anyways so i don't have to worry about that.

    Hey new here guys

Crickets are fine for them to eat but don't leave them in with your dragon overnight. As for temperatures, you need to create a basking spot for your dragon which should be between 100-110 Fahrenheit. You also need to create a heat gradient so in the warm end, its should be in the 90's or so...

    Hates my Gf!

Just to let all of you know... it worked!! The're now good pals. All it took was some feeding and bathing and all is well. Thanks for all the help

    Couldn't take anymore..

I'm constantly looking online for beardie videos and upload a few myself but i do hate it when you come across someone that clearly has no idea what they are doing or are being down right cruel. Best thing to do is flag the video as animal cruelty then at least it might get taken down

    Why doesn't Conatanople poop?

Warm baths are a great way to help them poop. I've read lots of people on her saying that their beardies dont poop very often. And also check the size of the food your feeding. If its too big, it can cause impaction.

    Beardies and height question......

They can seem fearless sometimes but im pretty sure they can. For example if im putting my dragon down and have my hand tilted slightly so she knows to jump off, she won't actually jump off untill its quite close to the ground. saying that though, she did jump off the sofa once. I was mortified...
