I usually feed Dengar when I get home from work at 6 p.m. and I give him all the roaches he wants and then leave at least 6 or 8 in the dish, which he eats in the morning. This seems to work pretty well because I want him to have a morning feeding, but I don't have a lot of time to catch roaches...

What does it mean when they bask with their heads down, vs. held up toward the light? I've seen mine do both, in the same spot with the same temps at different times. Someone else asked in another topic "is he basking with his head down?" so I'm just curious as to what this indicates. Thanks! Sue
