That is so cute! Falkor runs around his tank and head bobs for me and turns "fancy", that's what we call it when he is bright orange. He does it all the time in the summer and only does it for me, haha. I think it's because he wants me to pay attention to him.
They poop a lot less during brumation. Normally Falkor will poop every few days but now he is brumating. He hadn't pooped in a while and today he made the BIGGEST poop he ever has, ugh.
Okay, so it's not just my Beardie. I give him his fresh veggies in the AM and I will catch him later in the day eating them after they are all limp and shriveled up!
My Falkor is brumating right now too. When he first did it he was about a year and it freaked me out. He is 2 now and he started about a month ago maybe but this time I knew exactly what was going on. He does have some active days too. Today he was out and about running all over then he took the...
When I got Falkor he was about 3 months old. He was the MEANEST Beardie ever. I was so devastated, I tried everything and nothing worked. He would beard me and hiss at me all the time and he even jumped up and bit my hand when I was reaching in his tank to move something.
Then when he was about...
My Falkor is doing the same thing right now. He will be 2 soon and he brumated last year. He isn't in total brumation mode yet but he is going to bed a lot earlier, before his lights go out.
If his eyes are closed and he is stretched out on his log is he awake? He is always in the same position when I get up in the morning and check on him. Our entire house is 65 degrees I can shut it off at night but he does sleep with it on.
Mine did the total opposite, he was very aggressive and would try and attack me. I couldn't even pick him up. He just turned a year and now he is a big baby, he doesn't even puff up his beard anymore.
