    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Yes, they are in the same tank together - for now. The breeder/friend I purchased them from has several that live together - some do not. He told me that sometimes they are perfectly fine together. I wasn't aware of the issues you brought up till a couple of months ago. I do plan to separate...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

I've placed neosporin on it since the shed. They don't seem like they are bothering him-just no scales forming. The neck area does seem to have scales forming underneath. I'll try to get pix up soon.

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Just an update... the patch on the chin area started to shed/drop off today. Looks like everything is fine underneath(scales forming). I do have a concern with the other areas though. They seem like they are scars now. Kind of like burns on our skin. It doesn't look like scales are forming...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Took several but this one shows color and texture pretty good. Like I said all the tabs have come off except the neck area, which I'm still working on. * found out the other day talking to the breeder that this one has German Giant in him! Age is approx. 5 months

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Your feedback has been very helpful. All the patches except for the one on his neck have shed off and are slowly healing. The neck patch still has not peeled off but isn't as colorful as before. I scrub it every day during bath time and with witch hazel afterwards with a soft toothbrush. I...

Slate/Tiles Floors. To grout or not. Solved?

How about the humidity levels with the rear and side vents? I'm going to be building a tank soon and trying to get it right the first time.... What did you end up doing for the front? Nice job overall!

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Got up this afternoon and it had gone through another major shed... The area on his neck has lightened a little bit, the areas under were not really visible. So I gave him a 15 min. bath. The areas on his belly were now free of the green color. They now look like they were slightly red like they...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

I went to the local pet store today and discussed the issue with the owner. She had not heard of that sort of issue before, but said that the treatment seemed like a good start. They also didn't stock any meds that I could use. So doing some more research...I found an interesting section on a...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

@Tracie, It is definitely not food. I would say the spots have been there 4-5 days now. I purchased them from a friend/co-worker that raises/sells them. He is a trusted seller. I emailed him last night. I'm working back shift this week so it's hard to communicate with the real world. :\ From...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

I'm off a little on the age. We got them about 6 weeks ago and I think they were 6-8 weeks old. I gave them they're first bath yesterday(I just found out about bathing them). I haven't given them any meds yet...minus suppliments. I saw pictures of the toothbrush scrubbing. Thought I might give...

    green/yellowish patch under skin?

Hi, just joined and have only have my first BD's(2) for about a month. We noticed the other day, a discoloration on the neck area of one which seems to be were it didn't shed all the way. This morning I noticed a couple of other spots on it's belly. Looks like the same thing. I assume it's a...
