    Can i cut silkworms?

Beardies are attracted to movement so if the prey item is dead they might not go for it so, I would advise feeding him them alive if possible.

    Black beard?

I was trying to take a photo of my beardie and he didn't like the sound of my auto focus at all, he was puffing up his beard and giving my camera dead eye. You can sorta see his black beard. It went after about 20 mins and he settled down but its completely normal behaviour nothing to worry about.

    Weight loss.

My bearded dragon was looking healthy and shedding about a week ago and I noticed for about 2 days he was very lethargic and didn't do to much, definitely wasn't himself. Since then he has lost a lot of weight and doesn't seem to be eating much. I am very worried about his weight loss and ive...

My first enclosure - so far so good?

One solution I can think of is going for the higher rated bulb and using a dimming thermostat. They can cost a lot but make life so much easier. If you got one per bulb they would get your temps spot on and keep them that way. If you did go for the high rated bulb then the stat would use it as...

My first enclosure - so far so good?

Looking good, the only thing I have to say and its of personal choice, add a fake plant in the corner. Just make sure he doesn't eat it :P.

My first enclosure - so far so good?

I have a 150W heat lamp on a much smaller tank but see how you go first. If your temps are to low on the cool side try move your lamp closer to the middle of your tank or partially cover the cool side of your tank to keep warmer air in but be sure to leave room for ventilation.

My first enclosure - so far so good?

    1) It would be good for your beardie to be able to get within 5-7 inches of there UVB light for calcium synthesis and It will take longer for your tank to heat up but as long as you can the temps you need this shouldn't matter to much. If you do need to move your lamp closer and your lid can't...
