final update.. getting my lights properly hung tonight but the reason i wanted to update is to say how much better the this tube light system is from the MegaRay MVB bulb.. i have never seen my dragon so active in a long time.. he usually just sits in his basking spot day in and day out.. now...

got the all things living T8 tube and got it in the fixture, fits snug. it's all kinda rigged to the top of the tank so tonight i'm hoping to use some wood and build hangers out of it to attach to the tank stand itself.. have a good idea of how it should go but will have to see how all the...

If it's a t8 won't it fit the fixture?

Another update.. found a 30" T8 repti-sun fixture (fits 24" tube) on clearance for $29.99 at petsmart.. so i returned my T8 all things living tube thinking the fixture came with a bulb like the other repti-sun ones did in the smaller size and get home, box says "bulb not included" :banghead...

thanks.. i might be able to get the bulb tonight.. just gotta check what the length is.. a petsmart 30 mins from here has a 10.0 bulb but i didn't check the size so if it's 24" i'll grab it, i gotta head that way anyways but ur above links are great prices so i've saved them.. will order them...

thought i would update this post.. still haven't found a light fixture for my T8 bulb.. all the ones i found for t8's are wired not a power cord.. almost wonder if i should return the T8 bulb and call some stores that are 1-2 hrs away for a T5 bulb.. my dragon is going on day 2 with no UVB bulb...

Grabbed the bulb but they didn't have any fixtures so I had to goto home Depot and get one.. grabbed the wrong one of course, it's one that is to be hard wired not a plug so I'll have to return it.. checked walmart last night and they only had led fixtures that weren't bulb replaceable

Great work and thanks for getting back to me so quickly.. I'll be picking one of these up today.. so I'll be running one of these with a zoomed 150w basking bulb and Phillips 70w flood lamp from home Depot. . The flood lamp is pretty bright so I don't think I'm going to need an additional light...

I've got a hook screwed to the wall for hanging flower baskets but with the addition of a second heat bulb I don't wanna put more holes in mY walls.. Im hoping to figure out something that I can attach to the top of the tank.. my only problem is my dragons basking spot is pretty close to the top...

I need to get a custom built tank.. mine has no screen or lid so hanging lights is hard but I did make some purchases.. grabbed a 150w dimmable heat lamp ballast (not sure I'll use the dimming feature tho) and 150w zoomed basking bulb for it at petsmart.. grabbed a 90w Phillips flood lamp bulb...

Just ran down to home Depot to check prices.. seen some Phillips 90w halogen flood lamps with a 2yr rating.. should I try grabbing 2 of those.. u putting one at each end of ur tank? Right now my right side if the tank is the hor spot with the non functioning mvb. . Other side has his water and...

i didn't bother contacting them.. it's a PITA so i'd rather figure out a different heating/lighting strategy.. the tank is in a cornered wall so i have a flower basket hanger screwed to the wall and the bulb is in a 160W ballast (also tried a 200W ballast) that is hung from that above the tank...

^^ where can an i order black solider fly's? do they actually fly around because i don't think my guy would be much into chaser them around especially in a bank tank he may not be able to get theM? does anyone leave there crickets in the tank over night>? i have a separate 10 gal tank i do all...

i'm not sure how long he is but he is 1.5 years old we have super worms, could i replace crickets with those or mix them in between?

sorry to steal the thread but i'm from Canada so staple food is hard to find... i usually feed mine kale with a mix of other veggies daily which he rarely eats because he wants the crickets instead i usually feed the crickets every 2-3 days because of this but now he is not really interested in...

well i got a pic of each taken but unfortunately i'm not skilled with a camera to catch their actual size.. they are bigger than the picture show.. pictures were also taken off my iPhone4 so it's not a high end camera or anything but you get the drift, she is making a good recovery :mrgreen...
