a bit off topic, but from the replies i've read amongst various topics, solarglo seems to be a dependable MVB. so does the order go: 1)megaray , 2) trex, 3) solar-glo, 4)powersun?

if you dont want to order the reptisun online yourself, you can ask your pet shop to order it for you. my pet shop orders whatever special items i needed when i used to have my fish tank. They'll charge u a little bit more but i'm sure its worth it for the health of your beardie

most of the people here prefer to play it safe than sorry. calcium sand and other fine substrate are advertised as safe for beardies but there have also been people who have bad luck with it. so most of us here just use either newspaper, paper towel, and i think the most popular one is tiles...

to help him eat his collard green and other more nutritious veggies, u can try putting some worms or crickets in with the veggies so that u have like a chicken salad but with worms and crickets. when they go after the worms/or crickets, they might eat the veggies too. maybe they just dont know...

arggghhh hehe. i think the question then has become, which is easier to maintain without having to breed; a male or female. i just dont want them to have their life cut short because of my inexperienced negligence and research and readings can only go so far.

hmm, maybe i should go for a male beardie when i do get one since they seem to be easier to care for considering i've never had one before and dont want to take the risk of a female being egg-bound. thanks for the info guys
