My beardie wasn't a fan of baths. I got him from a previous owner, and it was obvious they never gave him baths. He didn't like it at all. I kept giving him one..I still don't think he's a fan of them...but he doesn't puff up anymore and he's a bit more active. I swear I saw him trying to swim. lol.

I've been checking in to. They obviously don't care or have any interest in it's well being, why keep it? that's cruel. I think you need to make them realize if he doesn't get the help he needs, he'll starve and die, you are more than willing to take care of him. If you haven't done that...

I had planed to somehow hang it in..like use a metal hanger..cut pieces off..curve the ends..and hang it. does that make sense? maybe someone else on the board could give you a good idea. That's in my new tank..I have yet to set up..

I've read that it's better to have it inside the viv, that a cover will cut UV rays by 50%. I'm not an expert but I do remember reading that somewhere here on the site. It's more effective inside rather than on top of a screen.

Sounds like him. lol. He'll bask, but lately he lays under his log a lot. He does get baths, not daily tho. I handle him the most, so he's not cranky to me..but when my daugther goes by the cage he'll puff out his beard.

Does they're behavior change while shedding!? Jasper seems really lazy..not as active. I'm trying to figure out if it's because he's shedding or maybe his UVB light is going bad. He didn't eat much of anything today, and I hand fed his crickets to him. He had no interest in getting them...
