A lot of beardies have blankies. :) Mine has one, but he prefers to sleep on top of things like his rock or his branch. It's so funny. He rarely goes into his hides. It's normal for them to do the digging behaviors. :) No worries.

He has stress marks. Something might be bothering him. Are his temps okay?

Yep Doc, too. I put him in the tub and within 30 seconds-poop! I love it! He doesn't like going in his tank either.

Have you tried soaking him so he'll poop? Also, how new is your bulb? And how are your humidity levels?

Can you take pictures? He actually might be upset by the new things in his tank. Beardies are VERY territorial and they don't like change in their enclosures. They do not like feeling unbalanced. If you pick her up, always make sure you have your hand underneath her behind. She shouldn't get so scared, then.

So many reasons... stress, scared, annoyed, sick... if he does it a lot, then worry. But otherwise, it's normal behavior. :) We all get moody sometimes.

Sometimes they are just scared. If it is too tight around the neck, it can bother them. When I put Doc's on him, I always make sure to stick my finger inbetween the harness and his beard and then pull it down so it is not tight. I'll take pics to demonstrate and post them tonight.
