Exo Terra Forest Moss for BPs/corns?

I'm pretty sure I use that in my BP humid hides. It comes in the compressed brick, right? Seems to work fine with me. It keeps the humidity up when they're in a shedding cycle, and as long as you don't over do it with the water, the stuff seems to be very resistant to mold. I don't know...

    disgusted with myself

Hey, it's hard! I've been bitten by almost all of mine at least once, but even then, I have this one who bites me almost every time I handle her...which isn't often, because I know she's nippy, so I'm always nervous handling her! It's okay; you'll slowly get back to normal handling again. :-]

I pretty much know zilch about red-tails, but that sure is a pretty one.

    Tiger Retic and Honduran Milksnake

My apologies. You may want to be more specific when you ask questions like this. For one, people can help you better by knowing what, exactly, you're asking about and why. Secondly, your initial post reads an awful lot like someone who just bought two snakes because they looked cool and...

    Cricket Supplier

Do you mean ships Thursday or Friday or arrives Thursday or Friday? LLLreptile.com's crickets usually arrive either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the supplier.

    Odor Elimination

What odors are you talking about? If it smells bad in there, it probably needs to be cleaned.... You don't want to use normal odor-eliminators; probably not good for the snake.

    Frozen feeders

I get mine from LLLreptile.com. Their prices aren't the cheapest, but their mice/rats are vacuum-packed and never gross in any way (frozen urine, etc.). I highly recommend them.

    First and Only Live Feeding

I don't think it's bad at all to want to watch something like that at least once. It's fascinating. As long as you're there, making sure the snake isn't going to get chewed on, I think it's fine. A few of my ball pythons have issues eating f/t, so they get live. I've only had once incident...

    Tiger Retic and Honduran Milksnake

You can pretty easily Google both of those to get care sheets for them. I hope you realize how big the Retic will get.... For any future purchases, though, I'd recommend finding out about their requirements before purchasing.

Snake Names and How did they get them?

Yay! Love seeing people's pet names! Irulan was my first ball python; she's named after the Dune character because I thought it was a beautiful name. Isis is my Brazilian Rainbow Boa, and I named her after the Egyptian goddess (I'd seen pictures of Isis with rainbow-colored wings). All the...

What do I do if I can't maintain the humidity?

My place's humidity is usually around 10-15% so it's hard to keep the humidity up sometimes! I started using a humid hide made of a plastic container with damp, fake moss in the bottom, and it works wonderfully! The snakes go in there when they need higher humidity and stay away when they...

    Disinfecting a tank

Hmm, can't say I've heard of that one before, so I can't really give you any sort of advice about it. Maybe do some Googling...? I use ammonia, and I know people use bleach too. The problem with those is you have to make absolutely sure the tank and furniture are rinsed off thoroughly and...

Yeah, sorry, but mouth rot is something that needs to be seen by a vet.

Breeder or Petstore for Ball python?

I definitely recommend a breeder over a pet store any day! Even reptile specialty stores can (and often do) have problems. If you don't want to spend on shipping, do some Google searching to see if there are any breeders and/or reptile shows near you. I wish I had some babies this year. I'd...
