WOW....you guys are lucky...I live in New Brunswick Canada.. and we were just hit... The snow is about 4 - 5 feet... LOL I had to shovel my way to my car to get in the car door...to go to work every morning..

Thanks so much... Turned them all off last night... Heat was 68 this morning..and we had a snow storm...but, we moved him closer to the floor heater.. so ya..he was fine...thanks :) He has been using the red light since we got him... So maybe he will be sooooooo happy to have a GREAT night...

Hello there.. We had a red head light that was a night light...It is now burnt out... Untill I get up to the store to get another one are we supposed to shut off all lights at night? Thanks

I agree....8 crickets is not enough to feed. My baby...(5.5 months) is eating about 50-65 crickets a day!!

thats awesome.. the reason we choose a beardie over a dog..is it is much much easier to care for..and easier to find a babysitter... :)we go away a lot... you dont have to take the baby out to pee..or poo..clean up is very easy.. and they are soooooo cute.. :")

Light go on when kids get up for school.. 7:00 am. They go off when kids go to bed.. 8:30-9:00 pm.. Normally he has had his bath at 7:00 pm.. and is being held until they go to bed.. Morning feeding is at 7:30 before school...and evening feeding is right after supper..6:00pm He has crickets in...

i USE my settings on appeture... using my 2.8 A lense. this lets all the proper lighting in. using flash doesnt work as well..

Chicko will climb up on my childrens hands but not mine as of yet. I think it might be because the cage is very deap and he knows its harder for them to reach? that is what it seems like.. as soon as they put their hands in he goes right into their hands..:)

Hey there.. We fed Chicko meal worms for the FIRST time!!.... Normally he eats about 60-80 crickets a day. How many meal worms replace the morning crickets.? We kept putting them down after dusting and he was eating them so fast we couldnt even see...lol.. I think he ate about 40 meal worms...

I usually dont beleive in answering to these sort of posts. I come on here to get info for myself and my sons new beardie. I find that most of the info I get is useful and I have learnt a LOT of things here that I had never even heard of before. I dont understand how adults can start a fuss...

Thanks so much...I will try that...We were trying to stay away from that..as It looks so nice and we didnt want to ruin it with ugly paper towel..lol..but, I will do that tomorrow... Hes not doing the wave or anything..but, gets a little stressed..and I feel as though it must hurt his nose. :(...

we just built a new glass terrranium and chicko is constantly taming his face into the glass. He's starting to get a mark on his nose. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? Thanks. :) Gabby
