I live in SoCal (inland)and its quite warm, I do not have a wine fridge as suggested by the growers to store my Phoenix worms, they seem to turn black very fast ( mediums), has anybody tried storing them in the fridge?

I have always ordered from phoenixworm.com and have never had a problem and they ship very fast.

I just got my phoenix worms today, does anyone know why it says not to store in fridge? I live in southern California and it is still rather hot, it says to keep them either at room temperature 60 to 70, or longer storage at 50 to 60, but not in fridge. my house is between 75 to 80 degrees...

My sons named ours "Boga" after the lizard Obi wan rides in Star Wars, and yes that might be a little nerdy :lol:
