I have no idea, i paid £250. She was egg bound and they said if they didn't give her a hysterectomy she would die the next time she tried to lay eggs because the ovary wasn't releasing the eggs. Nikki

I have contacted the vet, whenever they do a hysterectomy they remove the 'bad' ovary as usually only one works, 1 in 1000 cases the other ovary grows and develops and begins to work. Thus is the case!
