    New Beardy, Lots of Questions!

The safest way to feed a beardie is for babies/juvies- give them as many crickets as they can eat in a 10-15 minute time frame, 3 times a day. For Adults- as much as they can eat in 10-15, just once a day. Even leaving crickets in the tank during the day time can cause some serious damage to...

    Pointless and sad posts

No Peeling! You can damage the new scales underneath. Just give him a bath everynight and that should help alot. In the water you can gently rub, but don't pull. You can also use plain aloe gel to soften up the skin. :D

    Thundarr & Princess Ariel

Puff and Prickles were together for the 2 years before we got Puff. Puff killed Prickles, and no one knows why. They had been fine until that point. You will be singing a different tune when one ends up dead. Good Luck to Your Dragons.

New Bearded Owner in So Cal

Yeah, we had a 150 watt bulb, but we realized we were baking poor Puff. We have a 100 watt in one lamp and a 50 in the other- we turn them both on on cold days and only the 50 on the hotter days. I am kind of jealous that you have two beardies, we aquired a 3 year old so we have never had...

When can i handle my beardie?

Congrats on your baby! As far as handling him/her, Just keep trying! The more often you handle him/her, the more comfortable he/she will be. Our Puff ( :D same name!) who is 3 years old, isn't a big fan of being handled, but if we take him out in the evening when he is tired he is much easier...

My new beardies claw! Please help with my question!

Honestly, it was probably bit off by a tank mate. Our 3 year old is missing his furthest toe on his left foot, and it doesn't affect him in the least. It also doesn't look like it was injured, but my cousin saw his tank mate bite it off. I wouldn't worry about it, as long is he eats, poops and...

I wish I could help you in that department, but it seems to me that it's not possible! We just aquired a 3 year old BD in January, and of all places to go, he poops in his food just about everyday! We even put out an empty bowl to see if he would use that, but sometimes he still goes in his...
