Thanks! I use the Mr. Clean disinfectant wipes myself - it should be noted that if you scrub to hard you could potentially remove some of the sealer - this is why it is important to do multiple coats He just doesn't like the flash

As I was setting up my vivarium today, I had a few questions

Hi - As far as the basking bulb goes you have two options: 1. Return it and use and ordinary house hold bulb 2. as Sara suggested use a deep dome fixture As far as the enclosure is concerned - if you find that your baby is to stressed out with extra space you can always block off a portion...

    my beardie bites...please help

Hi - There is usually a reason for this type of behavior. Can you tell us a bit about your setup? What are you using for UVB? it is a coil, tube or MVB? How old is it? How close can he get to it? What are your temps? Where are you taking them? How are you taking them?

We aim to please! I just wanted to add that i also agree with everyone else about the sand, the laybox, the multivits, etc but i figured they had you covered on those things. One of the first and most important things you will learn is to not listen to the petstores. The...

just moved into the nieghborhood (PICS)

Exactly! You would just have to make sure its sturdy enough that if they "glass Dance" on it - it wont give under their weight. The minimum recommended size for adults is a 40 gallon which is 36" x 18". So provided you can split the enclosure to give each of them at least 36" in length it...

my bearded dragon may be impacted what should i do?

ok well its good that you have removed the wood chips. Is 27 degrees the ambient temp or the basking spot temp? What are you using to get this temp (ie. stick on dial therm, digital w/ probe or temp gun)? Do feel any lumps in his belly? Just so you are aware - meal worms are not very good...

my bearded dragon may be impacted what should i do?

we'll need some more information but in the mean time you can try: a long soak in warm water while lightly massaging the area or applesauce with a drop of mineral oil Why do you think he/she is impacted? How old is he/she? What kind of substate do you use? What are your temps and how are...

Rest in Peace/Looking for a new beardie

Here's another one: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/pet/1179042971.html They are asking $80 for everything and they say they need him gone asap so they may be willing to negotiate. If they wont let him go with out the enclosure you could always re-list the enclosure/supplies and more than likely...
