Beardies don't need toys... To them it's just more decor.

If your friend is not a beardie person don't persuade them to get a beardie over a cat. I personally think taking care of a cat is easier then a beardie. I would rather see someone take in a cat then a beardie if they are not suited to taking care of them properly.

He is still acting lethargic. He won't eat, and only opens his eyes if I do something like tap on the glass. I want to take him outside for some natural sunlight but it's been cloudy all week =(

He is 10 years old now. He is acting very very lethargic. He has not eaten anything in the past 4 days. He won't do anything not even move. He has his eyes closed majority of the time. He just does not look all that healthy. Now i never experienced a brumation, could this be an early brumation...

I agree feeding pinkies are just not necessary. I used to be one of those people that would feed their bearded dragon one pinkie a year as a "treat" I know better now. I'll tell you that anyone that is feeding pinkies are just doing it out of their own enjoyment.

Check Craigslist and adopt a adult bearded dragon if saving money is on your mind. You might be able to get a dragon and the enclosure for cheaper then you could buy it all. I know it's not as exciting as getting a baby but your saving a bearded dragon and you won't have to spend as much which...

I think natural sunlight is one of the best things for your bearded dragon. I have built my own outdoor enclosure. I have problems though with controlling temperature. While the air temp might me 90 the ground can be very hot. I'm dealing with 120 degrees and that is to hot for a bearded dragon...
