    Introducing Sophia!! *Pic Heavy*

She's a cutie! Oscar's gonna have to be patient before he can do anything with her though. She's going to be gorgeous! I better not let Kira find out, she'll be jealous! Don't changer her name either. Oscar and Sophia sound cute together. :D

Tatsu: Can I join your army?

Dear Tatsu, Can I have the title of escape artist extraordinaire? I'm extremely good at this, as you know. I can jump long lengths, sneak in tight spaces, and I can get out of nearly any enclosure. I guess you could call me Beardini. I'll give you a fresh silkie if you make my title escape...

The tile can get hot but if your temps are right, there shouldn't be a problem. You'll also need either a digital thermometer with a probe (stick ons are up to 20 degrees off) or a temp gun from http://www.tempgun.com so you know you're temps. I prefer the temp gun. You can get the digital with...

    Soon to be beardie owner

Welcome to the forum. :) Usually other reptiles and beardies means trouble for the dragon, not the other animal. Dragons are so docile, it's unbelievable. I have a red ear slider turtle and have never had a problem with them being together. Salmonilla can be in any reptiles but it's really not...

Specifically, what kind of uvb do you have? Is it an MVB? The coil bulb is for night time if it gets under 65 degrees, otherwise it's not needed. Nope, heat mats are a bad idea so it's good that you didn't get one of those (they easily over-heat causing burns to dragons). You'll only want to use...

    New beardie owner

Raising your basking temp to about 107 should help a lot. Right now it's too cool for him to properly digest any food that he eats so in a way, it's not bad that he's not eating as he'd more than likely regurgitate it anyways. And for multivitamins, they only need those twice a week. If given 5...

    Here is Gigantor!

Awww he's so tiny! My 4 month old's a monster. I miss when she was that small (about a month and 1/2 ago at least). I love it when they're little.

Tatsu: Can I join your army?

Dear recruits, I am pleased to inform you that I have healed and am strong again. This has worked in our favor as I come bearing strawberries and an extra for Tatsu. :D Enjoy. Kira

    adoption questions & intro

I think that he can handle them. They do have a hard shell like mealworms but because they have much more meat (and because at 16" the digestive tract is no longer curved) they are fine for them. I measure with a cloth measuring tape too. :D

    adoption questions & intro

Just a tip that I didn't see listed is that this dragon is 2 years old and more than likely over 16". If he is over 16" long, super worms work great! They are better for larger dragons than crickets and are 1/8 the hassle/smell/noise. If feeding supers, 20-35 per week is perfect. You can get...

Howdy all from Dr Rockso and Pebbles

From what you've posted, you're doing ok for now but not the best. You're going to have to separate your dragons. Males and females should never be kept together as the males mature faster than the females and will over-breed. The male may start breeding as early as 6 months old where as a...

    Hello

Just a tip, if you post this question under the feeding category, you'll have more responses. I've heard that you can give them chicken but very very rarely as it is high in fat for them and that makes it harder for them to digest it.

    Who are you?

Yea, I know. But, but, but there's a lot of people on here who haven't even hit puberty yet!!! Not that that's a bad thing but...you get my drift.

    Petsmart baby?

Fecals are really really important. I didn't suspect Kira at all. She was active, ate like a pig (130 crickets a day), and was very social but low and behold she has coccidia and pinworms. It's good to know what's going on with them. :)
