    so it’s 45cm from the basking platform and the closest he can get to it is 30 Cm. i have no way to hang it lower as it’s not a screen top cage. is he still going to get enough UVB or do i need to mount it length ways?

    so he now has a 24W which covers about half of the enclosure. i put it on an angle so it covers the basking spot but now the other end is a bit dark so thinking of getting some LED strips to brighten it up. is this set up all correct?

    nope no medication except these pro fiber tablets for a bit to get everything running smooth. contacted the vet and the next time he poos i’m going to drop it down and he’s going to test it again. his weight seems fine however if it is a stress thing i don’t want to make it worse by taking him...

    Yes thanks for checking in he’s doing better. a lot more active today/ hasn’t pooed in 4 days though which is worrying but other than that all good. yea he is a high red leather back :)

    yes. he has. a preference for food that moves so BSFL are hard but he gets them a few times. week. in my hand but i do have to poke them a bit to get him to see it’s alive lol.

    surface temps are normally 34-36 but air temps are higher and the T5 is mounted inside as i have a wood panelled viv not a mesh one
