Hi just a small update because I realized I never brought any of this up. But I got his bloodwork and fecal results on Friday, everything came back normal. So there’s nothing underlying the infection to worry about. And as for that, he’s already doing much better. He was still gaping yesterday...

Ok, is the juice needed or just a suggestion if he won’t drink? Cause the vet didn’t mention it. And are baths ok? I know they’re good for hydration but it seems risky here. And should I worry about his water bowl making the tank too humid and making him worse? Sorry for all the questions.

Yeah I’ve been keeping him warmer with a CHE. I’ll be sure to make sure he’s hydrated.

Ok thank you. Also an update. We just got back from the vets and she said he does have an upper respiratory infection. She prescribed some antibiotics that I’ll be giving him every other day and he should get all better. Thank you for all your help.

Hello, forgive me if I sound stupid, but what other treatment options are there? Everything I can find online talks about them getting antibiotics.
