I put a few baking sheets over the screen for some insulation just to test it and the temp went up 5 degrees. Please do let me know! I feel like I’m out of options! And I really don’t wanna add a whole extra light because I live in an older apartment and running 5 strong lights out of one plug...
do ceramic heat emitters lose efficiency over time? It’s about 2 years old supposedly. It still feels hot the touch though. But maybe not as hot as it should be? I’m not sure.
I’m struggling with getting my bearded dragons tank hot enough. On the top are his 150w basking bulb and 100w Che. Inside is his Arcadia 12 t5 uvb tube and LED tube for extra light. These are the readings are my probes and thermometers. I can’t put the basking and CHE lights inside because then...
I added the probes in and today the temperatures are actually stuck at a lower temp than usual. The basking and ceramic heat emitters are on top. Basking is 150w and Che is 100W. I don’t know what else to do to get the temps up. If I put them basking and CHE inside, then he would be too far away...
