My beardie does this too. He likes blueberries and strawberries fresh but his greens he'll warm up for a few hours before eating.

Today marks 1 year since I adopted Pete. I wasn't sure he was going to live when I got him, he was very dehydrated and skinny. Now he's healthy and very spoiled.

Its a 24 watt T5 yes. I put it on his tank in the middle of June, so its roughly 4 months old. His tank is a wide hole type but its more than 10 inches tall, I'll move it to the inside.

I use arcadia, they just sit on top of his cage.

I have a tube fixture for UVB, and his basking temps are always around 98 degrees Fahrenheit. I use heat lamps for them, he has 2 basking spots in his cage.

I know beardies go into brumation around this time of the year, but I rescued Pete at the beginning of the year. I've never dealt with it before. I just want to know what to expect, and roughly how long he'll be in it?

I took Pete for a short walk today. While we were out a family came by walking their dog, I was worried the dog would hurt Pete so I went to pick him up and one of the kids, who I'm guessing is 5, said look a dinosaur!! I thought it was to cute not to share.
