Loki passed away last night. The vet did several things which I thought would have helped him but seemed to take away whatever fight he had left in him. What a tough little guy, I’m so proud of how hard he fought.

Vet did tests and X-rays will know more when we get the blood work back. He had a very hard day today and I’m hoping with all my heart he makes it through the night. The doctor confirmed he DOES have tail rot, please all have Loki in your thoughts, we all could use the good mojo.

He is finally passing a bunch of old poo as I’ve been hydrating him. His beard has returned to normal color but is still very weak and not interested in anything but rest.

He did not lick the ointment, it was going on him topically. I was trying to use the recommended doses giving to me on this site for the charcoal. I started with 360 mg diluted in 12oz of water and I was giving him tiny 1ml squeezes into his gums.

He is still fighting me hard to get the charcoal and water into his mouth. He won't eat, but i guess that's a good sign that he is still strong and a fighter. Doing what i can to fill his belly with that solution.

I actually take charcoal for my stomach, I’m actually already feeding it to him. Seems to be helping? And yes please let me know anything else you can. Thank you very much
