I would have to remove the screen which keeps the cats out to lower that light. I don't think I can do that. Can you give me an idea of how much the UVB light is killed by going through a 1x1mm mesh? I would like to understand the math. Thank you.

As I stated in an earlier reply, it is about 14" from the base; Does the 1x1mm mesh kill that much?

Well lately she has been spending more time in her hide. She has went from coming out daily for a couple days for UV light and a few worms. Now she is not coming out again and not wanting to eat.
