    bearded dragons

They can definitely come off as aggressive but 9 times out if 10 it's a bluff

    bearded dragons

Yes very. That's one of the reasons why it takes much longer to tame them and get them used to people. They aren't as willing to be around others even their own species and always try to run rather than fight unless it's over a female but even their "fighting" is just frilling and trying to...

    bearded dragons

I would not house them together. Their requirements are totally different and beardies are more aggressive than frilleds. Frilleds are very timid. The humidity needed to properly house a frilled dragon would cause a URI in a bearded dragon alone. Frilleds also need much taller enclosures than...

    Pet store horror show

Frilleds are very rewarding to own. You just need to get them from a reputable place is all.

    Pet store horror show

Of course, I can't disagree with that. Every "good" pet store (I use that term loosely) should go around every half hour or hour to check for any dead animals and have a "sick room" for ones who are ill. #1 Seeing dead animals won't make customers want to buy an animal. #2 It's not hygienic for...

    Pet store horror show

Chances are if they were juvi's they were wild caught or farmed and brought over in horrible condition. In this case, other than them buying animals in such poor condition to sell, they may not have been the real cause of their deaths.

Fred my new Frilled Dragon! Pics!

Not sure if I suggested this to you before but you can try covering the sides of the tank for a week or 2 and remove a side a day after the week or 2 has passed

    frilled dragon?

He's on my forum. A bunch of people on my site bought from him and loved his service. I've spoken to him via PM too and he's a nice guy

    frilled dragon?

I've heard of PetCo and Petsmart having them but I never saw them there (kinda glad I didn't too). Surprisingly $150 isn't too bad for one

    frilled dragon?

I know of a couple breeders for NG, Aussies and the hybrids. Local reptile expos will sell them too. It's where I got mine from.

Hi all :) Updated with pics

At the very least your vet should be able to do fecals. Most mom and pop stores get their frills either farmed or wild caught which will make them a bit tougher to deal with. You may have lucked out and got a CBB though but there is really no way to tell. The fact that she is eating is...

Hi all :) Updated with pics

No problem. I'm sure things will get sorted out. Has she had a vet checkup? And what do you know about her history? Was she a LTC, CBB, CB, WC, farmed?

Hi all :) Updated with pics

The humidity seems fine as do the temps. Is the retained shed anywhere else on her body or just her toes? The toes and the frill are the 2 most difficult parts to shed from what I've seen. I don't like to manually remove the shed but if it is getting that severe I would suggest at least...

Hi all :) Updated with pics

Usually retained sheds are due to too low of humidity levels and dehydration issues. What are the humidity levels in the enclosure? What substrate are you using? What are your methods of getting a humid enclosure? This may actually be a simple fix so don't give up hope just yet.

    Your experience with frilled dragons:

I've been working with frilleds for about 3-4 years now. They make great pets as long as you are prepared for all the expenses that go with owning one. They require somewhat more difficult care/needs than a beardie but if you research enough and have everything setup prior to getting it, you are...

    Male or Female...?

Sexing frilled dragons is much like sexing beardies. Lay the dragon on a flat surface, gently lift the tail back until you feel a slight resistance and see if there are 1 or 2 bulges by the vent. 1 = girl 2= boy
