    Beardie fell

I took her in and nothing serious. After a few days she’s back to normal and running around. Thank you for the response and concern.

    Beardie fell

Hey, thank you for your thoughts. I took her in and they couldn’t see anything. After a few days she back to eating normal and chasing her beardie ball. I’m happy she’s okay :)

    Beardie fell

My beardie took about a 6 foot fall onto her stomach. When she hit she threw up liquid and some food, her legs coiled into her body and she shut her eyes. I picked her up and she’s been cuddling with me ever since. I can’t see any injuries but I’m unsure what to do.

    Handling

Not sure how old but if I had to guess based on size I’d say about 6 months. Got a 40g now. My lighting and temps used to be off but this site and it’s people helped me find the right stuff and we’ve been good for over a month.

    Handling

I’ve had my beardie for 2-3 months and handling is still a pain. Either it goes good or bad. Sometimes I can pet and handle no problem and other times she puffs up and hisses at me (even striked a few times). She’s even recently started to freak out and run around and glass surf for about 15...

    Handling

Lighting and temps are all fine. I just don’t understand why sometimes she’s fine with it and other times she gets very defensive. But even if she gets defensive and she does come out she’s extremely happy. Crawls all over me and jumps around. When I try to put her back in her tank she doesn’t...

    Handling

Hey everyone just a few questions on handling a baby beardie. So I’ve had my beardie for almost 2 weeks and my girlfriend and I are starting to bring her out of her enclosure. However, she reacts differently each time to us going in to get her. Sometimes she just runs around almost likes it’s a...

Temps were fine. I kept working for a little while longer and she climbed up my arm! It was an amazing feeling to watch her take that risk and to trust me.

    Bonding

Tonight my beardie finally ate some worms from my hand and let me gently tough her. Whenever I’ve had my hand in her tank or get done touching her she runs up to the glass and glass surfs again. Is she telling me to comeback or is something else wrong?

    Glass surfing

Her tank hovers right around 30% humidity. It’s gotten as high as 40% and as low as 20% (currently 28%) the water and food bowl my current tank came with looks like a rock but I’ll look at getting glass. When I do put crickets in she eats a lot of them, I will try pulling their legs off and...

    Glass surfing

Great? And the tank we have now opens from the top but the tank we’re setting up tomorrow will open from the front. I’ve seen coming to beardies from above is a bad thing. If she’s not eating her salad in the morning should I leave it in all day and if she still hasn’t eaten when I get home give...

    Glass surfing

Just wanted to give an update from last night. Switched to a digital probe thermometer which I like better already. I also switched to a CHE instead of a night light and this worked amazingly. My beardie only glass surfed for about 2 minutes and then curled up and slept for about 9 hours...
