You can be too close to UVB? I can't just lower the driftwood to be more like 15 inches away?

Hey, thanks for the reply. The UVB tube is 25cm away from the basking spot, so I think about 9 inches. The basking bulb is an arcadia halogen for heat and light, is it off colour? All the ones I have seen look that orange-y colour, now I'm worried lol
