UPDATE 4/13 Neglected Rescue with diarrhea

Sure did! He wasn’t thrilled about any of the new bugs, and they didn’t make quite much difference, I’m feeding him 3-5 dried grasshoppers, 4 super worms, and about. 1/3 cup salad a day. He’s really into squash wish I’d such an amazing change to see! (all food is dusted w/ herptivite...

UPDATE 4/13 Neglected Rescue with diarrhea

It definitely isn’t a lot of food, but it’s a lot more than he was eating a couple weeks ago. I offer him collard greens, squash, mustard greens, carrots, turnip greens, acorn squash, yellow squash, bell pepper, and peas, 3 times a day. He used to turn veggies away but now he’ll eat a couple...

UPDATE 4/13 Neglected Rescue with diarrhea

Thank you! Right now he’s fed about 20 mealworms, about maybe a table spoon of greens, and a few small pieces of squash (if he wants it). I appreciate the feedback, maybe I’ll try only adding greens a few times a week-maybe every other day?

UPDATE 4/13 Neglected Rescue with diarrhea

Hello, I recused an adult bearded dragon from a neglected home about a month ago. He was fed 10-15 mealworms a day, without multivitamins or vegetables in his diet. When I got him his stools were normal, I started easing him into vegetables with just a few pieces of collard greens, and turnip...

    Rescue with possible ear issue?????

He’s doing well! His appetite comes and goes, and it’s been a challenge trying to get him to eat his greens (his previous owner fed him mealworms almost exclusively) I’ve been having to trick him by feeding him a worm and then when his mouths open to chew I’ll hold a green there until his little...

    Rescue with possible ear issue?????

That sounds right, I’ll let it be and see how it’s doing in a few weeks :-) he’s on paper towel right now, so the risk of debris and gunk are low. His previous owner had him on very dirty play sand, poor thing could hardly move without a dust storm kicking up. It doesn’t seem to bother him too...

    Rescue with possible ear issue?????

Hello! I rescued an adult bearded dragon from a neglected home this week, I have him set up and comfy in a 40 gallon quarantine tank right now. I’m a new bearded dragon owner, and I know that beardys have thin membranes over their ear holes, which should never be touched, but King (stupid name...
