It’s a pretty simple setup and it covers the entire terrarium. I took the nightlight off because that might have something to do with his eye issues, but it is really strange that it is happening now... after 7 years with the same setup.

Again, I am posting because of something I am worried about.
My beardie has kept one eye open and one eye closed whenever I wake him, and I think it might be dehydration considering nothing is in his eye and there are no signs of infection.
A little more information would help.

From what I can see, it doesn’t quite look like MBD, but I would take him to the vet just to be sure. Maybe, if you are comfortable, post a few more pictures of him from different angles. That would make it easier to tell.

This doesn’t seem to be tail rot. I’ve seen this before, and it hasn’t been tail rot. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can post more pictures of his tail, then the answer will be more clear. For now, I wouldn’t worry. Just keep us posted.
