    Behaviour after shed

Not completely tame yet, but I'm not concerned with that right now. I'm just asking if others notice behaviour changes after a shed. Mine acts almost like a stage of puberty, each shed.

    Behaviour after shed

We're all aware that beardies can act skittish, or weird before, and during a shed, but what about immediately after? I'm fairly new to owning a beardie, I've had mine about 3 months, and he's maybe a couple months older than that. He's just completed his second shed since I've owned him, and...

    Eating

Update. Of course, after months of trying, today was the day I saw him actuatually eat a few mouthfuls of kale. I put a few crickets in there, and he (purposely) are sine leaves. And yes. He is VERY stubborn.

That doesn't work. He just picks out the parts he wants. Tried that for months.

    Gaping

I know beardies gaping while basking is normal, but mine rarely does it.. Until today. He finally shed his "shirt" - the final part to happen this shed. And incidentaly, now as soon as he starts basking, he's gaping wide open. He's also acting slightly odd around me.. He Likes being picked up...

    Eating

My little beardie who I've had 3 months (and I was told he was 3 months when I bought him, making him 6 months now.. but I think he may have been much younger) he eats his feeders well now and gains 4-5 g a week, but he's still only 60g/12"long. What I'm asking about, is he NEVER eats any...

    Age /weight

When I bought my beardie in augyst (3 months ago). I was told by the pet store he was about 3 months old. He didn't eat hardly at all for the several weeks he came home. He eats regularly now. My question is if the age they told me can possibly be accurate. I didn't start weighing him until...

    Sudden changes in behaviour

I've never been able to find any live feeders online availible to ship to my area. I'm sure it would be alot cheaper.

    Sudden changes in behaviour

I get the bsfl from petland. Ps. He seems much better today after a full week of weird. He's already eaten his second meal of crickets today. The first meal was probably the largest single meal I've ever seen him eat. I also cleaned his tank today, and covered some of the sides that he saw his...

    Sudden changes in behaviour

I sent a picture. The good news is he are as many crickets as I've ever seen him eat this morning. And he is still ok being held. He also seems calmer. Last night sas the first time he slept in a hiding spot. I moved him under his blanket, and he then hid himself completely underneath, which is...

    Sudden changes in behaviour

Also, he went through a full shed about 2 weeks ago (his colour is still unfaded) I did notice that he seems to now show a little yellowish tint in his beard into his armpit areas. (looks normal in pictures of other draggons I've seen) and the skin on his snout and head often look "dry".

    Sudden changes in behaviour

    Sudden changes in behaviour

I've had beardie for about 2 months now. I'm told he was 3 months old when I got him home. After a serious scare from the cat the first day home, he went through serious relocation stress for some time when he came home. He ate nothing for 2 weeks, (he has never wanted me to pick him up at all)...
