Hi! That definitely isn’t enough for permanent but in a bind it will work...hopefully you won’t have to use it long. If you can, leave the top off the tank so there is no screen or mesh blocking it. If it has to go through screen or mesh it’s basically useless but otherwise will work in a pinch.

You may have checked but I see them a lot on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace type pages. Also, there are lots of diy builds on YouTube that don’t seem too hard or costly if you’re handy. Good luck finding something ?

I got a mesh laundry basket from Walmart for $3 and it works perfectly for outside. It zips open from the top and side for easy access. It’s really helped get my baby used to being outside, she loves it!
