She’s seen him and seems pretty uninterested but I don’t know what it would be like at night so I’m worried. I’m trying to get him a bigger tank with a lid or maybe a front opening one. I found a 20 gallon, but from what you said I need a 40 so I’m still looking.

I will work on putting a branch and creating some shade like you showed in the picture. The tote we have is actually bigger than the tank. Is it ok to not have a lid? We have a cat and I was worried about that if there was no tank lid?

He’s super alert and active! And he ate a cricket! I’m so happy!!!

He’s taken two more meals of repta-boost and water. We were outside for some sunbathing. He still seems tired and not super hungry but he’s doing so much better. He pooped this morning and he gets very active in the tote when we’re outside.

I won’t listen to them anymore. I can’t believe how much wrong info they gave. But—he just took some water and repta-boost!! After hours of nothing! ??

I’m so glad I found this group. Everything the lady we got him from, and the Petco has been wrong. I feel so bad—he’s not thriving because of our set up. They said he’d be good in this for a year. That the bulbs were really good. That he should eat pretty much only meal worms. I just hope...

This is perkier that he’s been, but he still hasn’t accepted food or liquid for the last couple of hours.

I got the temp to 110 and he seems happy on the middle section. I’m working on getting some new decor from your list.

Ok! I’m working on raising the heat lamp.

The temp where he is in that picture is 104. But at the top of that structure is 114. At the bottom of the decor it’s about 97. Where he sits he’s just about 8 inches from the UVB.

Bottom as in floor of the tank. The basking temp where he sits is 104. The highest part (its a branch like structure) is 114. I’m thinking maybe he’s too warm..? I’ll get a picture!

They are small but I’m trying to do the repta boost. He’s basking, but he keeps going down to the bottom of the cage.
