    He's acting up again...

Though, I just watched a video about male Beardie "puberty" and it sounds kinda like what's going on with him. So... maybe... I dunno. I knew keeping reptiles was way different than other pets, but this little guy has me puzzled more often than not!

    He's acting up again...

No, neither. He's over 2 years old so he'd be considered an adult. And I live in the states, just have read that some can be really in-tune with their native cycles. :/

    He's acting up again...

When you say hormones, are you referring to the fact it's going into mating season in Australia?

    He's acting up again...

It's brand new. Maybe 2 months. I got it shortly after I moved into my new place back in June

    He's acting up again...

Lately my Beardie has been acting up. I'll wake up and he'll already be glass surfing and going crazy, running back and forth in his tank. The only way to calm him down is to let him out for some roam time or to bask in my windowsill (which he does for hours on end), but when I put him back in...

    Reptilinks

So it's been about 2 weeks, I've tried offering him nothing but his salads and I've tried adding BSFL. Today was the first time he got down from his hammock and actually ate out of his bowl. Unfortunately, he just ate the bugs off the top of the greens and didnt touch the greens themselves. I'm...

    Reptilinks

I very well may have to try that

    Reptilinks

See, I've had him for almost 2 years and up until a little over a month ago he's been a great eater. To the point he's a little overweight. I figured because we just moved into a new place the stress of the move might've effected him a bit but we've been settled for nearly 3 weeks so he should...

    Reptilinks

I was thinking about looking into other repashy products since he seems to like the Beardie buffet. Might do that I've tried Kale, collards, turnip greens and even spring mix lettuce (I know, not much nutrition in lettuce, but i was kinda desperate when I bought it). I gave him mustard greens in...

    Reptilinks

I can try that, though I think I've bought BSFL before for him and he wasn't too fond. Ended up feeding what we could of them to our smaller lizards before they all turned to flies or died. I'll try again and make sure he sees them on his salads, and I'll buy a smaller quantity just in case...

    Reptilinks

Hey guys, my 2 year old refuses to touch his greens. He'll eat offered veggies (he likes snap peas and squash), the occasional fruit (loves raspberries) and some bugs (he prefers worms. Super and horn. Not interested in dubias most of the time). He also really likes the repashy Beardie buffet...

    Surprise at the vet today

Meh, it never bothered me that much. It was more of a curiosity but I was content with him being my little girl. Now instead of "girl" I'm working on calling him "buddy" and "Cic" where I would've originally called him "Cers". It's taking some getting used to but all I really care about is that...

    Surprise at the vet today

So, I've had my Beardie for almost 2 years, under the assumption it was a girl and basically verified the first time I took her to the vet in late 2019. Well, brought her to the vet today because she hasnt been eating lately (luckily got a good fecal sample that they sent off for testing), and...
