rehomed dragon, 1st time owners, sleeping for days

Sorry I keep re reading your post and it’s so sad your friends gave her up just to have a baby Dragon. Especially since they didn’t even take care of her. They shouldn’t be getting another. Anyway, I wanted to add that her basking spot could be raised a little bit so it reaches 104 degrees. It...

rehomed dragon, 1st time owners, sleeping for days

I have 2 rescued dragons and they both love to sleep early. They go to bed no later than 8 pm and lights off, 60w CHE on bc it gets a little chilly in my house. The lights/heat go back on at 7am. Let them sleep in complete darkness.

rehomed dragon, 1st time owners, sleeping for days

I would suggest feeding her during the day. Preferably morning over night. They shouldn’t be fed at night before lights out Bc they won’t be able to digest their food properly without the heat and uvb they have during the day. Is this mouth rot??

    Tail rot

I thought this was tail rot! I would do the home remedy with warm diluted betadine if it becomes tail rot! And I forgot to mention to pat the tail dry after soaking and put NO pain relief neosporin on it each time!!!

    Is this mouth rot??

This could be the start of dental disease. The black could be tartar and you may not be able to remove that yourself, but you can prevent it from spreading by brushing your beardies teeth with diluted betadine. You want it diluted to the point that it looks like super watered down iced tea. Dip...

    Tail rot

Hi. You can try a home remedy that I am currently doing myself because if the tail rot spreads it can go into the body and kill your bearded dragon. It looks like it is still at an early stage. I would dip the whole tail into WARM water mixed with betadine. You want the betadine to be diluted...
