    FYI - "Wild" Brumation Behavior

Good story! Should pin this to the top of behavior, so people don't freak out.

    Suddenly Aggressive

It does have a reflector. He's is fine now. Just thinking it was a couple days of temperamental hormones. I did actually just grow out my beard more than normal...So if that's an actual thing, maybe he got intimidated? He seems to be fine now. Just seems like an attitude problem for a couple days.

    Suddenly Aggressive

Okay super weird. My beardie's lights turn on at 7:15am every morning, and by 8:00 he is out basking, bright, and happy. Today, we was in his corner at 10:00am, and I tried to move him, and he flared up. I put him on his basking area, and he TOOK OFF, and ran away and hid in the corner. When...

    Suddenly Aggressive

So after some research, I saw that the twitching could be a sign of MBD. So I took him to our local reptile vet, and as soon as we step foot into the vet, he is no longer aggressive, and no long twitching. Of course. Just like when you take your car to the mechanic, and it stops making the funny...

His side also seems to be twitching? Or just quick short breaths.

    Suddenly Aggressive

So my 4 month old beardie has been the sweetest thing in the world. Would always fall asleep on my girlfriend’s chest every night. Handled every single day. Hand fed every other day. We have not changed anything with his setup. Today, my girlfriend got home, and my beardie was dancing all over...

    Beardie Nostril Breathing Shed Issue

Personally, I wouldn't be too worried. The shed in his nose could have been causing some irritation, hence the odd behavior. If anyone else would like to comment and tell me I'm wrong, go for it :). But if he is fine now, I wouldn't worry too much.

What is this? Found in my tank

From the picture, it looks like a possible piece of regurgitated food? Are you able to get it out of the enclosure, and get a better picture?

Get Beardie Used To New Enclosure

Time. Relocation stress can take a little bit. It took my beardie about a month to be "normal". Just handle him, and he'll be back to normal in no time. - John

    Rusty, The Almighty

He is doing so much better now. Eating like a champ!! He's starting his first shed (on his face), so I truly believe the movement of the UVB lamp changed a lot for him for the better.

Upgraded to 40 gal and need help with the lighting

Use 3M Command Strips and mount it to the back wall like I have done here. Make sure to remove the plastic cover, and ensure the light is pointing out.

    TANK SIZE

As stated above, a 20 Gallon will work....for now. Very soon, once he/she reaches roughly 10-12 inches in length, you will want to upgrade the enclosure to a 40 Gallon Breeder (36x18x16). Once he/she reaches 15-16 inches, you will want to upgrade to a 120 Gallon (48x24x24). Good rule of thumb...

MY BEARDIE IS FOAMING AT HIS MOUTH!!!!!

Yes. Find a vet. Like yesterday.

    NEWBIE NEEDS HELP!!!

For your first beardie, it shouldn't be "scary". It is a little nerve racking, but as long as you purchase from a well known breeder, there should be no problems. Breeders are usually very understanding and will help you through every step of the way. Sadly, that is an option. Most, if not all...

Upgraded to 40 gal and need help with the lighting

One thing I can see, and personally speak apon is the UVB placement. You're going to want to mount that UVB might inside the enclosure. Use some 3M Command Strips. As for temps, I, personally would be happy with the 102, 90, 80.

    Weight, Size, and Eating

He drinks water in his daily baths, and he is learning about his water bowl. He'll drink out of it.

    Weight, Size, and Eating

So good news. Today, Rusty ate about 20 small roaches, 1 medium roach, and a decent amount of greens and butternut squash.

    Weight, Size, and Eating

I’ve heard relocation stress can take a while. He has not completely stopped eating. Just not eating as much as he should. He’s not sitting directly under it, but he’s in an area where he will get UVB.
