    Tiles?

Hi all? Just wondering if it's possible to buy glossy tiles and sand them down for a rougher texture? If not, which tiles would you recommend (links to Amazon or other s trores would be ideal because I don't understand tiles too much?) Thanks in advance! - Izzy, Saphira and Arturo xx

    Female being territorial?

Thank you :) I appreciate that there is risk of impaction and bacteria, hence my wanting to swap out the cooler end of the vivarium for tiles, as that's where the food and water, go to minimise the risk. However, if I notice any problems it will be addressed immediately; they're my absolute...

    Female being territorial?

Okay, so what do you recommend I do to encourage Saphira's digging? Clearly she enjoys it and I won't take away one of the activities that helps her feels safe. She's a very anxious beardie who was raised corn cob, so she's been digging up a wall to keep her safe as long as she can remember. I'm...

    Female being territorial?

Sorry all, I had some issues uploading this image for you guys to have a look; this is what we can see. I'm 95% sure Aurora is actually male; Saphira was waving at her from the vivarium while Aurora was helping me with their salads, and Aurora black bearded again, bobbed her head and was...

    Saphira and Aurora :)

Well, my girls have had a busy few days! We've moved Aurora into a new vivarium on top of her sister, and there's been talk of Aurora actually being an Artura as she's displaying predominantly male behaviours. They're also months younger than we thought at about 6 or 7 months! Been having lots...

    Female being territorial?

So what loose substrate would you recommend? Thank you for the advice and diagrams ?

    Female being territorial?

Thanks for the advice! Will get some reflectors ASAP and have a look where I can move the tubes to :) I try to put their climbing things on the back wall under the UVB, still kitting out Saphira's for the back wall though, work in progress!

    Female being territorial?

It's corn cob, very soft, foam like substrate. Not caused any problems with my partner's 6yo beardie who's been on it for 5 years but I'm planning on swapping out half the vivarium for tiles (the side with the food). Saphira loves to hide under her log and dig out the substrate to create a wall...

    Female being territorial?

Thank you all :) I didn't plan on getting both of them. Only found out there was a second girl in the vivarium when I was picking my girl up, but I just could not leave her behind! Ordered a new vivarium as soon as I got home but they were perfectly happy together, all cuddled up. They're all...

    Female being territorial?

We got two girls, both about a year old, about 2 weeks ago. They were cohabiting but we separated them, and today the much smaller one, Aurora, started head bobbing, black bearding and really puffing up when she spotted her big brother (5yo Spike, who was in his vivarium) I know this is standard...
