Thanks for the reference! I was unaware that they shed in "stages". Now that I look at my baby I notice parts of him that are different colors than the rest. I heard shedding is basically like getting a sunburn, new skin and all the irritation!

Did you wait to add the superworms until the frass had built up a bit? My colony is new so I don't think they can be beneficial just yet. Thanks for the help!

I know this thread is old, but there are plenty of breeders out there that sell dubia roach colony starter kits. Just got mine today and hopefully they start producing!
