Possible Impaction, x ray shows misaligned spine!!!!

Thank you AHBD, I know I’m just upset over all this and Tracies heart was in the right place because sadly husbandry is normally the problem, though her responses did seem calloused and definitely did not make me feel great (which I suppose is one con to a forum discussion, interpretation) plus...

Possible Impaction, x ray shows misaligned spine!!!!

Sorry it’s a sun blaster fixture, not sunbeam, with a high output 10.0 reptisun tube. His calcium levels were perfect so it had nothing to do with that, his bone density in the x-ray clearly shows that. He was genetically defected, being a citrus morph like he is, it was most likely from a bad...

Possible Impaction, x ray shows misaligned spine!!!!

He has been off the other meds for 16 days now, I wouldn’t think it to be likely they could affect him now. It was only a liquid poop, and he has acted like he’s trying to poo a few times but nothing came out, not sure if that makes a difference because I thought they could still poo liquid and...

Possible Impaction, x ray shows misaligned spine!!!!

My beardie Eskimo is 2 years old now. He had a problem with gout a while back, recently we had to have a small portion of his tail amputated due to tail rot. I stopped giving him allopurinol because of the antibiotics and pain meds he was prescribed and I made sure to hydrate him very well, gave...

    Gout or Septic Arthritis?

Sorry I haven’t responded, I’ve been working long hours...6 days a week x.x I’m not sure what his uric acid looks like but he pooped the other day and it looked normal. I use this stuff called Uricil, he really really doesn’t like it though, I have to dribble it into his mouth by putting a...

    Gout or Septic Arthritis?

My bearded dragon, Eskimo, has had a problem with his wrist/wrists off an on. It started when is was fairly young, maybe 8 months old. He is a little over a year old now. At first I thought it may have been an injury since it went away, but it has come back, now a couple of times and it is...

How often to feed an “occasional” food?

Thank you all for the replies! I do the same, I rotate staples every other week or so or what is best in quality I can find at the time. It’s nice to get other views though because it is a very untouched topic in my opinion, though it may perhaps seem common sense for some people it really isn’t...

How often to feed an “occasional” food?

I know this may sound dumb, and I am pretty knowledgeable about beardies but I’m getting a Uromastyx soon and I’m cross checking the items they can both eat. It got me wondering (if anyone really knows for sure) what is occasional? One feeding a week? One week out of the month? Occasional is a...

    Placement of UVB lighting

Oh shoot, I could have sworn I read it was supposed to be 90 somewhere x.x well good thing it was just recently I lowered their temps because they were at around 100 before. Thank you again, I appreciate the info! Now I just need to make a post for selling some babies, I’m incubating the first...

    Placement of UVB lighting

Aha, I see thank you for clearing that up. Both of their basking surface temps are at 90 degrees. I’ve been reading about the Arcadia t5ho bulbs but I’m wondering if there really is a huge difference in quality or if it’s just a convenience thing, as I have read they can be mounted further away...

    Placement of UVB lighting

If anyone is wondering about the basking lights I have them suspended from the ceiling with chain so I could get a bulb with a high amount of Lumens, they seem to really enjoy it as it is a rather recent addition I have made.

    Placement of UVB lighting

And this is Leo’s, as you can see I have tilted each UVB because I figured it would give them better exposure even with the reflectors I just felt like it could be more effective. Any thoughts on this as well?
