    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Hello everyone, apologies for the late reply. She's doing alright for now, but I'm certain that the mass is starting to irritate her. The vet prescribed a medication that would help soften her poop, so it'll essentially "slide" out more easily without her straining too hard. Even so, she's been...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

She's been acting completely normal. Definitely hating the formula food, but she is gaining some weight back. She doesn't seem to be having any noticeable side effects from the anti-inflammatory. But with regards to the mass, I'm guessing it'll take a few more days for it's effects to become...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Yup I got some raw manuka honey with a Kfactor of 16. I've been applying it (after watering it down) onto her cloaca. I must say this is some miracle honey, my sore throat was the gone the next day after taking a small spoonful of it, so I hope it helps Drake too ?. And wow I didn't realize...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Update: Took her to another vet. Probed her and determined tht she's a girl. Vet began with two possibilities 1. An intestinal prolapse 2. Some form of mass After probing her, we were certain that she has a mass because there was foreign tissue blocking the rectal canal. I've been given...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Ok thanks! I'll head out to find them after posting this. Full image of her (excuse the editing, didn't feel comfortable about exposing my face) : https://ibb.co/gFNjtLs Image of cloacal: https://ibb.co/r45My8z The angle doesn't really show any improvement but what was a bulge yesterday...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Update: Good news is that the "tumour" seems to have reduced in size, I'm starting to think it may be an infection or at least something else... . Hopefully I can get an appointment tmr (Monday) with another reptilian clinic, I think having more opinions will help me decide what steps to take...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Unfortunately I don't have any raw honey, but I have tried the sugar paste method before going to the vet. But now I'm wondering whether it's the right thing to do to apply anything with sugar onto what potentially could be a tumour cell. I'm not sure why I didn't ask the vet at the time, but...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Her cloacal seems to be a bit more swollen after straining it hard. Im starting to think its irritating her because she keeps moving around, window surfing and bobbing her head (with the latter two being something which she never does normally). Do u think I should soak her vent in a pedialyte...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

She lives on a silicon mat, whenever she roams around I place her in an open area and keep an eye at her at all times.

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

I haven't done proper testings to prove she's a girl. But from her previous owner, the vet and comparisons to online images, shes most likely a girl. 2-3 days ago we noticed reduced appetite, i suspected it was brumation or something. Yesterday when I let her roam around the floor, I noticed a...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Yeah prolapse was ruled out. An infection wasn't mentioned at all. No blood was taken for testing. I think it's worth mentioning that my girl is born with deformities (shorter lower jaw with missing teeth on the right side, a shorter respiratory tract), so I guess it would be reasonable to...

    Suspected tumour in cloacal vent

Hello everyone, my ~6 year old (I adopted her since she was a juvenile) girl has been suspected of having a tumour in her cloacal vent after a vet consultation (its unlikely to be an abscess because it feels very fleshy) . The vet told me surgery is the only method of removal but chances are...

Bearded dragon refusing to eat for a month and more

Hi all, my male bearded dragon hasn't been refusing to eat anything for the past month and a half. I've tried to force feed him and it has been unsuccessful as he keeps spitting out the food with his tongue, only a small amount of the food I force him to eat makes it in. I've had him for around...
