I have a 3ft x 18 inch tank, 2ft tall that I'm setting up for my beardie. I was looking at the 30 inch Zilla Pro Sol for lighting, but there are some bad reviews on it. Anyone have a good heat and UVB setup for a tank this size? basking platform is about 8-9 inches from the top of the tank.

So I've built the below enclosure insert using polystyrene foam, and using quikrete with liquid color. My question (or rather questions) are as follows: 1. How many layers of concrete should I add to the foam? 2. will the color rub off on my beardie if I don't use a sealant on the concrete?

I just got a juvenile Beardie (only 4-5" long). I made a mistake and got ground walnut shells as a substrate for it, and I'm looking to change it out before any damage is done. I used slate stone to cover most of the walnut shells, and will be feeding in a separate area to minimize risk for now...
