    @herpgirl the surgery would have been about $70, but because the vet missed the tail rot on the original visit, she did the surgery for free. I’m in CO so it was Golden View Veterinary Hospital.

    His screen is more like a window screen. I normally have the top off though, as he is not at risk of climbing out. As for the tail rot, his appointment is on Tuesday to have his tail partially amputated. I will look into the Repashy bug pies as that might be better than the chicken and squash...

    He doesn’t lick things off his nose anymore, but he does take the baby food pretty easily now and even looks like he’s starting to put on some weight. I heard the High Output lights can go over screens because they put out so much (maybe too much in this small cage?) UVB. Is that incorrect?

    He is using the leg now. He was on the meloxicam for 10 days. .03cc once per day.

    His viv has been handicapped since he had been falling over, so many climbing hiding things were taken out for safety.
