the uvb bulb is on top of the screen however it is more of a heavy duty bird wire (1/4inch squares in between wires) sort of thing rather than a mesh screen. Okay! Thanks :)

I'm having this exact same problem.. my Zayde acts 100% normal but he has these stress marks that only lighten when feeding/holding him. Idk what I could be doing wrong >.<

Update: he has been basking more and not hiding, however the stress marks dont go away. they only lighten when I'm holding/feeding him then they come right back..
