I just have a question about how I should set up this lamp. It is an under cabinet light fixture that I got from amazon and I was wondering if I could keep the plastic cover over the bulb for safety just in case the lamp fell or would it make it so that my beardie couldn’t get enough uvb rays...

It is a compact bulb in one of those double mini dome lamps from zoomed. Should I set something on top of the platform that is already there so he can get closer if he wants to or do you think it would get too hot?
