OMG. I was not aware that Fluker's doesn't make a seal around the inside of the package. Bought about 250, 2 week old Crickets, and thank god, decided to open them outside. Crickets everywhere and me and my mom screaming. Lost about 1/2 of them. Oops?

His name is Mel, I use the deep dome combo lamp with a 10.0 UVB Bulb and a 100 Watt Daylight Basking Bulb. I bought everything at a trusted Museum/Breeder in California. He is in a 40gallon enclosure.

OK, so it really looked like dirt, so we researched and tried to flush it out. Worked pretty well, he can now open both eyes, but some dirt is left over. He didn't seem to mind the water either. Will see if he can blink out the rest of the dirt or if I will have to do another flush tomorrow...
