Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Hi All! I know its been a while but I wanted to do an update. Grunbeld is walking again and her appetite has gone back to normal. We heeded everyones advice on the lighting recommendations and continue to feed her lots of greens, worms, and her normal calcium/vitamin dusting. However, she never...

Hi all, an update! Grunbeld is doing much better today we are so happy, she was supporting herself with her front legs today and walking with more strength. Thank you for all your help and advice, setting up the UVB light properly with the calcium really seems to be doing the trick!

hmm that's probably not it then since we did an x-ray and they didn't mention anything and I haven't noticed her dig to that extent at all. But I will keep it in the back of my head for the future.

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Thank you both for being so concerned for her, we are still hopeful she can get better. Shes the same so far I think even a little stronger, they couldn't get the calcium serum in until Monday so we are hoping to see more improvement now that we are finally giving her more calcium. How would I...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

The antibiotics are for two weeks, so its been one week so far on it. Overall shes the same, still weak front legs and has gained weight quickly. Not sure if its the food supplements we have been giving her with no exercise or something else but I feel light being larger isn't going to help with...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Hi All, we got the test results back from the vet and they said her ionized calcium was normal and she tested negative for the adenovirus. The only thing out of the ordinary was that her white blood cell count was high as if she is fighting an infection. Attached are the photos of the results...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Ok here is a better photo, and watching the video posted above I do believe Grunbeld is a female as well! I guess I have a big girl? haha The first vet was just an exotics vet, while the second one I went to yesterday was a reptile specialist. So I am hoping to hear a more detailed response...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Thank you all for your concern. An update on Grunbeld he is still the same weak in the arms but alert. I took him for a second opinion at a different vet and they said the blood test the first vet did don't give enough information just like everyone has been saying on this forum, also when he...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

I had no idea that was a bad practice, we will stop with the antibiotic, should I still use the anti-inflammatory as well? We do have his UVB bulb mounted inside the tank roughly 8-10 inches from his basking spot I will take a photo of his tank and a video of him walking when I get home today...

Bearded Dragon weak front legs, can't walk properly!

Hello everyone, help please! I have a year and a half old male bearded dragon named Grunbeld. From one day to the next he went from healthy to unable to carry his weight while walking. Mainly he seems to shuffle and use his back legs to push himself along the floor while his front legs shake...
