Beardies do live on sand in the wild.

I love the Beardie Vet! He's doing a lot of awesome stuff!

    Retrofitting a buffet

I'm definitely planning on sliding doors, they seem easier to deal with.. Where do you hang the lights if you keep the drawers?

    Retrofitting a buffet

Cool beans! I think we're still going to use the materials from this thing, but we'll make some drastic changes!

    Retrofitting a buffet

So, we're getting ready to retrofit this into a new vivarium for Opal. We're going to drastically alter it (like not use those doors, get rid of the drawer, make the top a hinge, etc.), but I'm curious about the dimensions. It's 34.1 inches (H) x 42 inches (W) x 18.4 inches (D). We can adjust...

It's the ZooMed ReptiSun 10.0 from petsmart. Their website doesn't list that spec. It overlaps her basking spot.

Here's Opal. Her setup is a 40 gal tank with repti-carpet, a zoo med 30" hood with a reptisun 10.0 UVB lamp and two basking lamps (usually not on at the same time) one is 100w and the other 150w. I have been feeding her some Nat Geo pellets just to get her to eat something other than superworms...

11 month(?) the size of 3 month old

Hi! I just got a bearded dragon from a high school student that is supposedly 11 months old, but she's only 63 g and 10 inches long. I took her to a local vet just to establish care in case of emergencies. The nearest reptile vet is an hour away. The vet said that she's small, but healthy. Do...
