We lost Bleu sometime during the night and he will be so greatly missed. Thank you so much to everyone here for all the help over the years. We couldn't have done it without you. This pic is from our trip to Yellowstone a few years ago.

Hi and welcome! I am in SC too :) If you're lower state/lowcountry, keep an eye on the humidity. If it gets too high, it can cause respiratory issues.

Good luck with the move. Bleu had a rather long brumation this year too. Add to that a move in February but he's adjusted well, though it took a little while. I'm glad to hear you and Darwin are doing well :)

Bleu has always responded to my voice and I swear he like Norah Jones and Queen Latifah's jazz album.

Bleu is also an random brumator. He'll crawl in, sleep for about 3 or 4 days, then come out. He'll be up for several days, then go sleep again...and repeat. He's a good weather predictor though. His days of returning to sleep always seem to come just before it snows.

I got a super soft fleece baby blanket, then cut it into a few smaller ones so I have a spare when one needs washing.

I usually only buy a few at the time too. Even tiny ones will be giants within a week. I use them as treats (every few weeks) and when I buy a pack of five or so, I'll give him one a day till they are gone.

I used a fleece baby blanket and cut it into smaller sections so I have some spares and one for his travel case. So if one has to be washed, I can just drop in another with no waiting. I also have some fake plants in and Bleu has never tried to eat them, though some will. Another thing he loves...

I was thinking of you this afternoon. Bleu started running laps around his tank and soon....poop! :lol:

Does he poop anytime close to these running around episodes? Bleu will get times when he does this too and it is always a sign that poop is coming.

It's like I said to a friend not long ago...you haven't lived till you've had to clean out a beardie's nose :)

I only got Bleu's pic because I pulled him out to check on him. He'll stay up for another day or so and go back in.

Bleu did a random 'sleep for 3 days, come out for a few days' in November, but he finally went down a week and a half ago. I took him out today to check on him and he ate a little but I expect he'll crawl back in and go to sleep when he's done. I've been leaving his lights on like normal.
